Educated in local schools, such as the Anglo
Chinese School, the University of Nueva
Caceres, and the Ateneo de Naga for his
Bachelor of Science in Commerce to become a
Certified Public Accountant, the young Nagueflo went
to the Ateneo de Manila for his law studies. Today,
Atty. Enrile is one of the most successful businessmen
in Bicol whose skills, creativity and strong drive to
innovate led to higher levels of productivity and
prosperity. Armed with plenty of imagination, persistence and nerve, Atty. Enrile presided over the Filipinas Canning, the first sardine factory in Bicol. His Bicolandia Realty Development Corp is on big projects in Naga, making a strong dent on the architectural landscape of the fast-developing construction industry in the city. He is also the President of the Peña de Francia College, a noble enterprise that has been established not so much for its material return of investment but for its immeasurable contribution to private education and the youth.
He founded the Caceres Aquamarine Corporation which is the very first kaolin processing plant in the country. His highly-charged entrepreneurial spirit is saving the country millions of dollars to import key ingredients used by local manufacturing plants as glazing material for organic products. Before the plant was put up in Naga City, with its raw materials sourced locally, the Philippines used to import 120,000 metric tons of kaolin. Arty. Enrile's plant now provides 10% to 15% of this total kaolin requirements which translates into millions of dollars that our country desperately needs in these times of economic crisis. Atty. Enrile is also highly credited for his determined bid to revive the then ailing Bicol Sugar Development Corp. which is now known as the Peflafrancia Sugar Mill that provides jobs to a large number of workers and sugar planters and put back sugar as one of the key industries in Bicol.
